Filip, a middle-aged man, makes his living as a professional film extra, specializing in one peculiar niche: playing dead bodies. His days are a monotonous cycle of film sets, makeup, and practiced stillness. On the set of a historical epic, he encounters Łucja, an actress portraying a deceased woman. Their meeting, amidst the artifice of props and performed death, sparks an unexpected connection—the most vivid moment in his simulated existence, blurring the lines between performance and authenticity, between living and merely portraying life.
