The Tatami Time Machine Blues

A nameless student, sweltering in the August heat, accidentally destroys his boarding house's sole air conditioner remote with spilled cola. Desperate for relief, he hatches a plan to use a makeshift time machine to retrieve the remote from the past. His trickster friend Ozu, however, cannot resist meddling with yesterday's events, triggering a cascade of temporal paradoxes that threaten to unravel reality itself. Now the student must race through a tangled web of cause and effect to undo Ozu's chaotic interventions before time itself collapses.
