Paan Singh Tomar

Paan Singh Tomar, India's champion steeplechase runner, returns to his village after a distinguished army and athletic career, yearning for a peaceful life on his own land. Instead, he confronts a brutal system of local land-grabbing. When corrupt officials and thugs seize his plot and the police turn a blind eye, the athlete is forced to exchange his javelin for a rifle. The running track gives way to the ravines of Chambal, where he transforms into a legendary bandit, a rebel whose speed and defiance make him a folk hero and a nightmare for the authorities.
