Out of the Darkness

The Skov family navigates life in occupied Denmark as the policy of cooperation with the Nazis crumbles. Karl, the patriarch and owner of a weapons factory, walks a tightrope between lucrative German contracts and the burgeoning Resistance movement, which now includes his own children. His daughter Elisabeth operates in the shadows of the underground, while his sons choose divergent paths—one joins the fight, the other clings to neutrality. As German brutality intensifies, each family member's personal choices lead to irreversible and tragic consequences, tearing their world apart from 1943 through the war's end.
