Absolute Value

2014 · 39 min Documentary

In the early sunny morning, the postman delivered to the Royal Society – the English Academy of Sciences, a letter from an extremely angry American scientist: "Some Kelvin began to claim a galvanometer, which, as the whole world knows, was invented by the respected Sir William Thomson!" The American was outraged by the impostor's audacity, the indifference of the Royal Society and wondered why Professor Thomson himself was silent. William Thomson and Lord Kelvin are two names inextricably linked in the history of science.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Absolute Value is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2014 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
