🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a classic saga of legend-making, relying on the tension between personal passion and historical destiny. It explores the Bowie myth through a lens of romantic entanglement, where love and violence are inextricably linked.
What lingers after the final reel is the portrait of a man forged by his obsessions, set against the vivid backdrop of the American South. A solid, atmospheric slice of old Hollywood biography. — MovieFinder Editorial
