🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a classic comedic setup, relying on the stark contrast between expectation and reality before cleverly subverting it. It explores themes of gender roles and resilience through the era's signature physical humor and straightforward gags.

What lingers after the final reel is the satisfying twist where the underestimated party turns the tables. A brisk, cheerful reminder not to judge a book by its cover. — MovieFinder Editorial
