Carter, recently sacked and perpetually single, is stuck in a soul-crushing rut. His monotonous existence is jolted when he spots his beautiful ex-girlfriend through a library bookshelf. For one fleeting moment, life promises a sudden, glorious upturn. The reality, however, is starkly different: she is nine months pregnant and going into labour. This chance encounter catapults him into a chaotic, absurd, and profoundly human day where playing the role of an unprepared birth partner becomes an unexpected catalyst for examining his own stalled life and forgotten connections.
