A small monk in red robes lives alone atop a mountain, making daily trips down the slope with a shoulder pole to fetch water. His tranquil routine is disrupted by the arrival of a tall, thin monk, forcing them to share the duty. When a third, plump monk joins them, the simple act of fetching water devolves into a silent comedy of stubborn inaction, each waiting for another to take the lead.
