Drs. P: Niet Van Talent Gespeend

2007 · 52 min Documentary Music Comedy

A documentary on Heinz Hermann Polzer, better known under his pseudonym Drs. P. Polzer was a Swiss singer-songwriter, poet, and prose writer in the Dutch language. His oeuvre consists mainly of macabre novelty songs, with dry humour, surprising twists and an exceptionally inventive and virtuoso use of the Dutch language. Polzer sang his lyrics with a distinctive shaky voice, while accompanying himself on the piano.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Drs. P: Niet Van Talent Gespeend is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2007 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
