Disfluency

Jane, a linguistics PhD student, stutters only in English, while her native Spanish flows freely. Her dissertation on speech disfluencies becomes a personal investigation when she realizes her stutter coincides with moments she lies. Instead of treating the symptom, Jane begins to uncover what truths she's hiding even from herself. Her advisor, Dr. Ellis, sees a breakthrough, but Jane must choose between academic acclaim and the painful excavation of her own past.
