Il mammone

Andrea, a forty-year-old man, still lives with his doting mother and cannot imagine life without her constant care. His comfortable world shatters when she decides to start anew and kicks him out of the family home. Utterly unprepared for reality, he is forced to confront adult life, scrambling to find a job, housing, and perhaps even love. His absurd attempts to adapt to independence become a series of comical and poignant misadventures, laying bare the timeless theme of infantilism and overbearing parenthood in contemporary Italy.
