Heiko, a middle-aged misfit, learns his mother is going blind. Rather than consult doctors, he unearths an absurd remedy from an old magazine: regular beer drinking and dart playing supposedly improve eyesight. Skeptical yet desperate, Heiko embarks on a daily ritual at the local pub, where his eccentric attempts draw the attention of fellow regulars.
