On May 12, 2008, a catastrophic earthquake hit Sichuan Province in rural China, killing nearly 70,000 people, including 10,000 children. Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2009 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: viewers looking to try something new without being too demanding.
