A military district commander in a Mexican province navigates a meticulously constructed double existence. Publicly, he is the epitome of a disciplined officer and devoted family man, but behind closed doors, he is a man intoxicated by absolute control. His authority in the barracks is unquestioned, yet at home he engineers a more intimate and complex web of domination.
