Urubus

A young man returns to his hometown in northeastern Brazil, where the past catches up with him with brutal inevitability. He attempts to reconnect with family and old friends, only to find everything altered and old wounds still fresh. Under a scorching sun and in the shadow of social inequality, a story of debt, betrayal, and the impossibility of escaping oneself unfolds. The urban environment becomes a full-fledged character, oppressive and relentless, where every day is a struggle for survival.
