Moonwalk

Moonvak, an elderly fisherman from a remote Kerala village, sets out to sea each dawn in his weathered boat. His existence is measured by the rhythm of tides, salt-crusted winds, and nets mended before first light. When the government announces plans to build a port that will erase his ancestral home, Moonvak's quiet routine becomes a silent stand against faceless development. The film charts this collision between tradition and modernity through one man whose identity is inseparable from the ocean. Avoiding grand speeches, the director focuses on the subtle transformations within a community, capturing the shift through weathered faces, daily rituals, and the looming shadow of change on the coastline.
