🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The director constructs the narrative on the stark contrast between the gritty cabaret world and the pristine art of ballet, using this duality to fuel the protagonist's inner journey. The film explores sacrifice, obsession, and the price of a dream where the body is both the instrument and the limitation.
What lingers after the final act is a poignant reflection on the fragility of ambition against both societal pressure and personal ghosts. It's a dance drama that resonates as a parable of resilience. — MovieFinder Editorial
