🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a classic tale of temptation through the stark contrast between the virtuous Peggy and the seductive Marcolina. It explores the boxer's moral descent with a visual language that relies on the kinetic energy of the ring to mirror his inner conflict.
What lingers after the final bell is the quiet resilience of devotion against the flashy decay of vice. — MovieFinder Editorial
Director: Marcel De Sano
