🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its tension from the domestic drama of a small lie that threatens to unravel two lives. It explores how desperation and the urge for a quick fix can lead to catastrophic choices.

What lingers after the credits is a raw, unvarnished look at trust and the fragility of shared dreams in a world of financial strain. The emotional cost of the gamble becomes far clearer than the monetary one. — MovieFinder Editorial
