The film skillfully blends thriller tension with a poignant odd-couple drama. The chase from both police and yakuza provides a gripping plot, while the evolving bond between the kidnapper and his captive forms the emotional core.
What lingers after the credits is a quiet reflection on desperation and unexpected connections. It's a crime story that prioritizes heart over action, finding warmth in a cold situation. — MovieFinder Editorial
