🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a classic comedic plot, relying on the contrast between plain American ingenuity and European aristocratic deceit. It explores themes of trust and true worth in a world where everything seems negotiable through its recognizable character types.
What lingers after the viewing is a gentle satire on marriages of convenience and the predictable, yet satisfying, triumph of integrity. The narrative serves as a quaint reminder that loyalty remains a timeless currency. — MovieFinder Editorial
