🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs its narrative on the tension between unbridled creative expression and the crushing weight of societal and biological forces. It explores a subculture that built its own kingdom of desire, only to see its foundations eroded by historical inevitability.
What lingers after the credits is a poignant sense of a fleeting paradise, a celebration of the body and community that was as vibrant as it was ultimately vulnerable. — MovieFinder Editorial
