Midori, a silhouette cutout artist in her late thirties, is haunted by a quiet anxiety about the path ahead. Takano, a 25-year-old bureaucrat, moves through his ministry duties in a state of numb lethargy, crushed by paperwork. A mundane office task leads him to a grim list: names of individuals who took their own lives due to precarious employment. One entry, a young man his own age, triggers an unexpected obsession.
