Soiree

Shota arrives in Tokyo chasing an acting dream, yet survives through petty theft. A trip back to his hometown of Wakayama throws him into a violent confrontation: Takara is being assaulted by her father, freshly released from prison. Bound by desperation and a shared need to flee, the two decide to hit the road together. Their journey becomes a fragile alliance of lost souls, each mile blurring the line between rescuer and the rescued. They find temporary shelter in deserted motels and empty coastlines, crafting a fleeting world of their own making as they drive.
