Fontana, la frontera interior

Watch Trailer
2011 · 105 min Drama History Western

Argentina, 1880. A group of exhausted soldiers sails down the Pilcomayo River. A man at the head of the group hesitates. It's Colonel Luis Jorge Fontana. The lives of many men depend on his decision, and he knows it very well. The territory of a country isn't something that falls from the sky: the borders drawn on maps are the product, at some point in history, of the will and determination of a few men; and Fontana was one of those men.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Fontana, la frontera interior is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2011 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
