🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Keiji Maeda's film transcends a simple swordplay narrative to become a poignant elegy for a vanishing world. It delves into the identity crisis of a man whose core principles are rendered obsolete by the march of progress.

What lingers after the final frame is a profound sense of melancholic beauty and the quiet tragedy of irrelevance. The focus is on philosophical weight over relentless action. — MovieFinder Editorial
