Dulcima

Dulcima, treated as a domestic drudge by her own family, escapes to become housekeeper for Parker, a surly widower drowning in alcoholic disarray on a neighboring farm. Discovering his hidden stashes of cash scattered about the dwelling, she coolly indulges the old man's growing desire, forging a peculiar yet mutually beneficial arrangement.
