El lugar donde se juntan los polos

Watch Trailer
2004 · 54 min Documentary

Juan, the film director, is Ecuadorian, his partner, Francisca, is Cuban. They live in Paris where their two children were born, just like Juan 30 years earlier. By switching back and forward from past to present, between the history of a family across 3 generations and that of a whole continent, the film director considers the issue of political commitment and the heritage left to the next generation in the form of a letter from a father to his children.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

El lugar donde se juntan los polos is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2004 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
