🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Feuillade constructs a narrative that relies on the allegory of winemaking to explore national identity and post-war resilience. The film builds its emotional power through the quiet, rhythmic depiction of labor and homecoming.
What lingers after viewing is a profound sense of connection to the land and the unspoken bonds that hold a community together. A poignant, earthy meditation on recovery. — MovieFinder Editorial
