🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Idrissa Ouedraogo constructs a tale of pure simplicity, relying on the authenticity of non-professional actors and the stark beauty of the rural landscape. The film explores prejudice and kinship through the unfiltered perspective of a child, building its emotional power through quiet observation.
What lingers after the final frame is a profound sense of human connection that transcends societal scorn. A gentle reminder of the wisdom found in the most unexpected places. — MovieFinder Editorial
