Giovanni, a young Italian from a humble background, wins the green card lottery and heads to New York City to chase his American dream. His wide-eyed enthusiasm quickly meets the gritty reality of the metropolis. The search for a job, an apartment, and a grasp of local customs becomes a series of hilariously awkward misadventures.
