🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a straightforward historical adventure, relying on clear moral stakes and spirited action to drive its narrative. It explores themes of duty and resistance through the lens of a classic hero's journey, set against lush landscapes.

What lingers after the final clash is the charm of an old-fashioned swashbuckler, where derring-do and noble causes triumph over treachery without much complication. — MovieFinder Editorial
