Their plans shatter one night when one boy witnesses the impossible—a man emerging from a solid wall. The next day, after sharing his story, the witness vanishes without a trace. Soon after, the second friend disappears. As students whisper about a dream that stole their comrades, the art teacher is found murdered. With suspicion thick in the air, the third and last friend decides to uncover the truth, knowing he may become the next target.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
A classic French mystery-thriller that expertly blends the cloistered atmosphere of a boarding school with a tightly wound detective plot. Director Christian-Jaque builds tension so that the viewer feels the corridor's claustrophobia and the weight of secrets alongside the young heroes.
What lingers after the credits is the sense of an elegant, clever genre piece where the puzzle matters more than spectacle, and true friendship is tested by fear. — MovieFinder Editorial
