🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a classic conflict between imperial authority and spiritual discipline, relying on folklore about temple guardians. It explores the protagonist's arduous journey through rigorous training sequences and combat trials.
What lingers after the final clash is the spectacle of 70s martial arts choreography, where each victory in the bronzemen hall feels like a step toward mastering oneself. — MovieFinder Editorial
