Ghosts of Rome

An elderly prince inhabits his ancient Roman palazzo, sharing the cavernous halls with the benevolent ghosts of his ancestors. For years, he has stubbornly refused extravagant offers from a development consortium eager to demolish the palace for a modern department store. His sudden death, however, passes the estate to a pragmatic nephew who promptly signs the demolition papers. With the wrecking ball looming, the spectral residents—a mischievous collection of bygone nobility—orchestrate a hauntingly clever campaign to save their eternal home from commercial oblivion.
