20 Ans après

2002 · 76 min Documentary

The Hovanessian family immigrated to the United States in winters 1994. Vartan and Anahide allowed me to share the last days before their departure from Erevan. The young Armenian Republic, still in shock from the earthquake and in conflict with Azerbaijan for the autonomy of Karabagh, was suffocated by a blockade that made the emergence of a new economy difficult.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

20 Ans après is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2002 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
