🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its drama on a subtle psychological contrast between duty and desire, relying on domestic details to build tension. It explores the fragility of marriage as routine and neglect slowly erode affection.

What lingers after viewing is a sense of uneasy anticipation and a moral quandary where sympathies are constantly shifting. The conclusion leaves a bittersweet residue about the ease with which paradise can be lost. — MovieFinder Editorial
