The Day After Trinity

Physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer leads a secret wartime project, marshaling the greatest scientific minds to build a weapon of unimaginable power. Through interviews with Manhattan Project scientists and newly declassified footage, the film traces the feverish race from theoretical physics to the first atomic test, codenamed Trinity. It then follows Oppenheimer's profound transformation, as the architect of the bomb becomes a haunted and vocal opponent of the nuclear arms race he helped ignite.
