Between Miracles

Benedetto, a boy who miraculously survives an accident on his first communion day. The villagers interpret this as a divine sign, condemning the child to a strict religious upbringing. Growing up in the halo of being 'chosen,' he finds himself trapped between carnal desires and the sacrifices of faith, between sin and grace. His adult life becomes an agonizing search for self in a world where every natural impulse is declared a betrayal of a higher gift.
