Palombella rossa

Michele, a Communist MP, loses his memory in a car crash, yet no one around him seems to notice the change. On election day, he finds himself at a water polo match where fragments of his past begin to surface through the chlorinated haze and echoing shouts from the poolside. Every goal, every contested throw unlocks another piece of his former life—love affairs, party intrigues, ideological compromises. The water blurs the line between game and reality, forcing him to reassemble the mosaic of his identity against the backdrop of the Italian left's historic crisis.
