🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a whimsical universe where an ancient mystical tradition collides with modern student life. It relies on the stark contrast between campus mundanity and the spectacle of two thousand digital spirits clashing against the backdrop of picturesque Kyoto.

What lingers after the CGI battles fade is a surprisingly warm tale of camaraderie and finding one's tribe amidst the absurd. — MovieFinder Editorial
