Still Human

Cheung, paralyzed after an accident, inhabits the cramped space of a Hong Kong apartment, his world shrunk to a window frame and fading memories. Evelyn, a Filipino migrant worker hired as his caretaker, enters this still life, her own dream of becoming a photographer left behind. Two solitudes, separated by language and circumstance, gradually find a shared rhythm in the daily rituals of care. Through the passing seasons outside their window, they learn not just to assist, but to listen, accidentally becoming the most crucial person in each other's life, gently nudging awake long-abandoned aspirations.
