🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a portrait of an era through the lens of feverish creative energy. It works with the contrast between everyday slacking and the almost sacred ritual of filmmaking, exploring how art is born at the intersection of anarchy and fanatical devotion.
What lingers after the viewing is a sense of immersion into the unique ecosystem of the late-60s Japanese underground, where the line between life and cinema blurs. It's a tribute to the raw, fearless energy of young rebels. — MovieFinder Editorial
