DMZ (Demilitarized Zone)
Two South Korean soldiers, Sergeant Lee Soo-hyuk and Private Kang Min-woo, are ordered to man a solitary observation post deep within the Demilitarized Zone. Their mission is to monitor enemy movement in this frozen landscape of perpetual conflict. Yet isolation, paranoia, and the biting cold erode their sanity faster than any enemy ever could. The line between genuine threat and the phantoms of their own minds blurs, transforming a routine assignment into a psychological trap with no apparent escape, where the true enemy may be the silence itself.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Director Kim Kyung-hyung crafts less a war drama and more a claustrophobic study of the human psyche under extreme duress. The film masterfully uses its limited space and minimal cast to concentrate an almost unbearable pressure, where dialogue is sparse but every glance carries weight.
What lingers after the credits is the chilling realization of how fragile the mind can become when left alone with fear in a silent, frozen no-man's-land. It’s a potent allegory for the psychological scars of division. — MovieFinder Editorial

Oppressive silence broken by creaking metal and a heartbeat. A frozen, hostile landscape under a low, leaden sky.
