Brainstorm

Neto, a middle-class teenager, navigates the mundane rhythms of adolescence until his father discovers a single marijuana cigarette in his pocket. This minor transgression triggers a catastrophic overreaction: using his influence, the father commits his son to a mental institution. Inside, Neto is thrust into a grotesque parallel world where diagnosis is arbitrary, treatment is torture, and the line between patient and prisoner vanishes. The institution operates as a merciless machine, crushing individuality under the weight of bureaucratic indifference and outright cruelty, forcing Neto to confront an inhumane system designed to break wills rather than heal minds.
