New Old Story
A chaotic Seoul becomes the unlikely playground for ancient Korean spirits rudely awakened into the age of smartphones and instant noodles. Kim Ji-hoon, a hapless app developer, accidentally frees a mischievous wind spirit and is forced to guide the disoriented entity through the concrete jungle. Teaming up with an eccentric folklorist named Yuna, they navigate a growing conflict between the human world and aggrieved creatures from old tales, whose magical powers take wildly unpredictable forms when filtered through social media and urban decay.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film is a delightful tightrope walk between slapstick humor and genuine heart, never letting its jokes undermine the folklore at its core. Its greatest strength lies in finding comedy in the mundane clash of eras—a demon frustrated by a touchscreen, a goblin bewildered by subway etiquette.
What lingers after the credits is a charming sense of wonder, the feeling that ancient magic might just be surviving in the digital cracks of our world. It’s a playful reminder that some stories are too stubborn to ever truly fade away. — MovieFinder Editorial
