Grass Labyrinth
Akira is haunted by a childhood song about a bouncing ball, a melody his mother once sang. On the cusp of sexual awakening, he becomes obsessed with tracing its origins. His quest leads him into a temporal warp where fragments of his youth bleed into his emerging adulthood. In this liminal realm, he encounters a mysterious witch-like woman, herself imprisoned within the endless corridors of her mansion. Their fates intertwine—he is lost in a labyrinth of time, she in a labyrinth of walls, and together they navigate what may be the deepest maze of all: the subconscious mind.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
*Grass Labyrinth* is a haunting, visually sumptuous exploration of memory's elusive grip. The film masterfully blends folklore with psychoanalysis, crafting a space where time folds in on itself and desire manifests as landscape.
What lingers after the final frame is not a plot, but a sensation—the eerie, beautiful disquiet of a half-remembered dream. It’s a film that dwells in the liminal, asking viewers to wander without a map. — MovieFinder Editorial
