🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Director Ziad Doueiri constructs the narrative through the naive lens of its teenage protagonists, exploring the absurdity of a conflict that reshapes their world into Muslim and Christian sectors. The film relies on this youthful perspective to find humor and humanity amidst the encroaching chaos.
What lingers after the credits is a poignant sense of resilience. The story proves that coming-of-age and laughter can persist even on the brink of collapse. — MovieFinder Editorial
