🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a clear contrast between performative bohemianism and genuine emotion, relying on concise yet expressive staging. It explores the language of glances and a static camera to convey languid boredom and sudden attraction.

What lingers after viewing is a chamber piece about transcending social ritual for a personal impulse, captured in the distinctive style of early cinema. — MovieFinder Editorial
